My guiding principle:
All grand pianos would be equipped with the base plate ex factory.
Advantage: Every grand piano transporter and other piano makers would have the possibility to work directly with his grand piano tilting system and to assemble and disassemble a grand piano in a way that is easy on the back and instruments. Tilting over the lyre no longer needs to be considered. The direct tilting at trolley height also protects the rear wing leg, as the angle of installation is considerably increased.
Especially for instruments of the upper class it would certainly be desirable to be treated professionally and gently even after leaving the factory.
The professional transport work with the wing tilting system is also a positive and impressive aspect for the end customer.
Warranty: When designing the wing tilting system, I attached great importance to easy handling, safety and longevity. Beyond the legal warranty period, I grant a warranty of 5 years on all parts when used correctly and in accordance with the instructions for use.
